We are carrying out another training as part of the Intelicardio project
On January 17, 2025, the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw will once again host a training as part of the project “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the diagnosis of congenital heart defects (CHD) – future practical application”.
This time, the training includes an obstetric module, i.e. ultrasound diagnosis of congenital heart defects in children in the prenatal phase. We invited specialists and residents – gynecologists and obstetricians – to participate in the training.
InteliCardio is an educational and scientific project aimed at developing competences and enriching the knowledge of healthcare workers in the field of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) systems to improve the diagnosis of congenital heart defects (CHD). Participants of the training will have the opportunity to learn, among other things, what role AI can play in prenatal echocardiography for an obstetrician (or obstetrician – diagnostician) and what AI is and who it is supposed to help.
The training will be led by experts who deal with fetal WWS diagnostics on a daily basis:
dr hab. n. med. Marcin Wiecheć, prof. CMKP Assistant Professor of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Chairman of the Ultrasonography Section of the Polish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Head of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinics at the University Hospital in Krakow. Co-founder and consultant at the Ultrasound Diagnostics Center of MWU DobreUSG in Krakow. One of 2 Poles Member of the ISUOG (International Faculty ISUOG) Expert Council.
